I didn’t know I was a superhero junkie until I saw an old superhero movie on tv one afternoon. It was slapstick and over the top and a little bit ridiculous…and I could not turn it off. I ran to the bathroom on commercial breaks so I wouldn’t miss even a second.
There’s something about the singular nature of the heroes that really got me thinking. Every person presents themselves a certain way–sometimes truer to their inner nature than others. Superheroes present the great exterior, but that’s not always the truth.
